I was very nervous to attend the singles night that Bridgett hosted at my church. I have been to several singles events that were unpleasant due to lack of structure or events that are run by people who don’t understand what it is like to be a single adult beyond their early 20s. I felt seen and understood. This event began to change the ways that I treat myself and others in romantic, friendship, and family relationships.
